A K-12 school in Bothell, WA is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join their team on a contract basis for the current school year. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the academic and emotional well-being of students through comprehensive psychological services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify students learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and support to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Assist in crisis intervention and contribute to creating a supportive school environment
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate documentation
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and data interpretation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school personnel and families
